2. Storage Agreement

Upon entering into a storage agreement, the renter agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by Storage Hammersmith. The agreement outlines the duration of storage, size of the storage unit, and the applicable fees.

2.1 Rental Terms

  • Monthly rent is payable in advance.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.
  • The rental period begins on the date of the agreement and continues on a month-to-month basis unless terminated.

2.2 Unit Allocation and Availability

  • Storage units are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • We reserve the right to reassign units as necessary.

3. Access to Storage Units

Clients have access to their storage units during the facility’s operating hours. Extended access may be available upon request and subject to additional fees.

3.1 Operating Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

3.2 After-Hours Access

  • Available for an extra fee.
  • Requires prior arrangement with management.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of Storage Hammersmith facilities, you are responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring that all items stored are properly packed and secured.
  • Avoid storing hazardous or illegal materials.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the storage unit.
  • Informing management of any damages or security concerns.

4.1 Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited in our storage facilities:

  • Explosives and flammable materials.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Illegal substances.
  • Valuable items such as cash, jewelry, or important documents.

5. Liability and Insurance

Storage Hammersmith is not liable for any loss or damage to items stored unless caused by our negligence. It is recommended that customers obtain their own insurance to cover their stored possessions.

5.1 Limitations of Liability

  • We cannot be held responsible for theft, fire, flood, or other accidental damages.
  • Storage Hammersmith’s liability is limited to the amount of rent paid by the customer.

5.2 Insurance Recommendations

Customers are encouraged to secure comprehensive insurance policies to protect their belongings against unforeseen events.

6. Termination of Agreement

Either party may terminate the storage agreement by providing written notice as specified in the contract. Early termination may be subject to cancellation fees.

6.1 Notice Period

  • 30 days written notice is required for termination.
  • Failure to provide adequate notice may incur additional charges.

6.2 Eviction Procedures

In cases of non-payment or violation of terms, Storage Hammersmith reserves the right to evict customers from their storage units following due legal process.

7. Payment Terms

All payments are due on the agreed-upon dates as per the storage agreement. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and direct debits.

7.1 Late Payments

  • Late fees apply if payment is not received by the due date.
  • Repeated late payments may result in additional penalties or termination of the agreement.

7.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided for missed rental periods. In the case of overpayment, refunds will be processed upon request.

8. Security Measures

Storage Hammersmith employs various security protocols to protect customer belongings, including surveillance cameras, secure entry systems, and on-site personnel.

8.1 Surveillance and Monitoring

  • 24/7 CCTV coverage of the entire facility.
  • Regular monitoring to ensure the safety of stored items.

8.2 Access Control

  • Secure entry with individual access codes.
  • Authentication required for after-hours access.

9. Modification of Terms

Storage Hammersmith reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of changes through official communication channels.

9.1 Effective Date

All modifications become effective immediately upon posting on the facility premises.

9.2 Customer Notification

It is the responsibility of the customer to stay informed about current terms and conditions.

10. Governing Law

Continued use of Storage Hammersmith services after amendments signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
